Micro Pilot Edge Ingest: 5-Step Boot Checklist

Micro pilots fail when edge ingest never reaches the API. NADIR ships a repeatable boot path: download the org boot manifest, configure the gateway, run the Pulse agent, start serve, and confirm frames in Console.

Step 1 — Boot manifest

From Console Settings, download the org-scoped manifest with API key ref and webhook hints.

Step 2 — Gateway .env

Copy edge.env.example, set NADIR_API_URL and NADIR_API_KEY, enable shadow mode only.

Step 3 — Agent + serve

Run nadir-edge-pulse boot once, then nadir-edge-pulse serve on the gateway host.

Step 4 — First ingest

Replay telematics CSV/JSONL or connect live adapter; verify ingest_frames in Console usage.

Step 5 — Field handoff

Capture proof JSON with make pulse-field-handoff for Jul 31 fleet gate evidence.
